2008 Tawas Point Birding Festival

Come to the festival to enjoy:

Seminars on current important topics for birders

Field trips to three Important Bird Areas (IBA's) plus Clark's Marsh

There is no registration fee for the festival, however, fees

are collected for attendance at seminars and bus rides to field trips

  • A broad selection of bird and nature books will be available at the festival. Michigan Audubon Society's Book Store will be set up for Friday and Saturday to satisfy the needs of all nature lovers. Prices are excellent, and even better for MAS members.

  • The festival is acknowledged by the co-publisher and co-founder of The Bird Watcher's Digest, Elsa Thompson. In a recent periodical, True North, she is quoted as saying:

"I would say that the Tawas Point Festival is one of the best in all of North America."

Thank you, Elsa, for your kind words!
